DRY SHADE. ABOUT 3 FEET HIGH AND WIDE. SLOW. EVERGREEN
This unusual and ancient plant has evergreen glossy spiny foliage with red winter berries coming out of the ground like a fountain of holly branches to about 3 feet making very very slow colonies over a lifetime. My oldes one has been in the ground for 20 years and is about 5 feet across. very easy and tolerant of dry shade conditions. Good foundation plant.
