This is a choice version of an already choice plant. ‘Slick Rock’ makes a lovely and slowly expanding clump of long-arching glossy foliage rather than the typical spreading form. The folaige is easily twice the size of regular iris tectorum. The same beautiful crested purple flowers come in late spring. Divide this one occasionally to keep it happy.
