This lovely spreading Carex has dark green, somewhat stiff grassy foliage making a lawn alternative for a small spot without alot of foot traffic or underplanting larger perennials and shrubs or at the edge of a path or border. Carexes are SO versitile and useful in the garden and should be used more often.
