HEIGHT 12" /  SHADE /  AVERAGE TO DRY SOIL

These are divisions from my own collection of this very useful and pretty Carex from a very dark and dry, sandy site in rural middle Georgia. Meaning it should grow in the harshest of conditions!

Evergreen arching thread-like olive green blades in generous clumps are useful under oaks and other water stealing trees or edging a shady path or in a nice woodland container. 

I love this one and am wondering why its not in every garden!
